ABOUT US
Gulgadya is the Aboriginal word for Grass Tree in the Dharug language. Grass Trees are only found in Australia and have traditionally been used to provide food and resources for Aboriginal people. Gulgadya was the name chosen for our business as our aim is to provide meaningful employment for Indigenous Australians (food and resources), our business is located on Dharug Country (Penrith NSW) and the Gulgadya Tree just happens to be the favorite plant of Aboriginal owner, Glen Liddiard.

Co-Founder / CEO
Glen Liddiard, a former professional Rugby League player and current Indigenous Wellbeing Officer with Penrith Panthers, has been an influential voice within the Indigenous community throughout his life and career. Glen is dedicated to creating opportunities for meaningful employment and investment in Indigenous community initiatives. Jason Roberts of Elite Group is an expert in the industry and throughout their many years of friendship, it became clear that Jason shared Glen’s vision. Together, Glen and Jason created Gulgadya Group as a platform for realising their shared vision. With the industry knowledge and support of Elite Group, Gulgadya Group aims to be an industry leader by providing highest quality landscaping, quarry material supply, civil and haulage works whilst caring for Country and Culture.
